FLED International Leadership Institute is now accepting applications into two Professional Programmes.

  1. Professional Certificate in Transformative Leadership

21st century leaders must be multidisciplinary and possess the capacity to harness diversity for sustainable development. They must learn to think differently and act with candour. Transformative Leadership Course is an Executive Professional Fellows Programme of FLED Institute designed for executives and senior professionals in public and private sectors already in positions of strategic responsibility in their organizations where they are expected to provide vision, lead a team, and drive change.

The Course has a balanced mix of theoretical interrogations and pragmatic focus on leadership challenges, drawing from past and contemporary global examples. Participants will learn to build personal leadership competencies and understand how to manage diversity as transformative leaders.

  • Political leadership requires a great deal of artistry. Given the complexity of society in the 21st century, aspiring political leaders at any level must learn to deal with these complexities and drive society towards sustainable development and stability. Emerging political leaders must understand the unfolding trends as well as be equipped with requisite political skills to navigate the contours of public leadership in a diverse world.

Leadership for Politics & Public Governance (LPG) is a Professional Leaders Programme designed to broaden the visionary capacity of men and women want to pursue a long term career in public Politics, and to prepare them for in-depth public leadership roles. This dynamic Course has a balanced mix of theoretical interrogations and pragmatic focus on practical leadership challenges, drawing from past and contemporary global examples. Participants will learn to build personal leadership competencies and understand how to manage diversity as emerging visionary leaders.

Who Can Apply

This course is carefully created to be an added value to emerging political leaders who seek to remain active on Nigeria’s public political field over a long-range. Those that particularly would benefit from this course include those that seek to contest elections in 2023, Youth leaders of political parties, legislative Aides, SAs/PAs of Senior Political Office holders, and leaders of youth organisations .

The two Courses have five key components:

Course Duration

One weekend contact per month (Friday Evening & Full Saturday) for four months; and 3 months evaluated mentorship attachment. Total duration is six (6) months.
